The Role
- Responsibility for managing a full varied caseload of Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases from inception to completion
- Maintaining and building excellent client relationships
- Protecting clients best interests, whilst taking precautions against potential fraud and money laundering
- Obtaining and checking land registry documents and title deeds
- Drafting legal documents, including contracts and HM Land Registry documents
- To ensure all files comply with the company policies and the regulatory framework including CLA, SRA and solicitor account rules
- Undertaking general administration duties, using a high degree of self-management and initiative
- Deal with clients both in person and on the telephone, in a confident manner providing clear, accurate and up to date information
About You
- Be a Regulated Person with a minimum of 3 years PQE, holding a recognised accreditation and current practice certificate, for example SRA / CLC / CILEX
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a Fee Earning Conveyancer
- Be able to Title Check unaided
- Be able to undertake all aspects of a sale and purchase transaction including reviewing and reporting on mortgage and searches
- Have experience carrying out AML checks on Source of Funds and Source of Wealth in line with AML Regulations
- Have experience of using a Case Management system
- Be a motivated self-starter, able to work remotely effectively and efficiently
